 SISE - Curfew/Mercy Rules

Because of time limits and other leagues using the fields, Curfews and/or Mercy rules must be enforced in every game when more than one game is scheduled to be played on any field.

  • Prior to start time, line-up cards, game ball, and game fees must be given to the Umpire.

  • Timing on a first game starts at the scheduled game time unless the field is being readied for play at that time.

  • Timing on succeeding games commences at the start of said games.  (Unless the field is available and the teams are not ready to start at scheduled game time).

  • Courtesy Runner (Only One):  should be announced at ground rules.  This runner can be for anyone on the team.  The courtesy runner will be the last out.

  • The team has until the first pitch is thrown to declare a courtesy runner.  After the first pitch is thrown, no courtesy runner will be allowed.

Additional Notes:

  1. In regards to line-up cards, please print legibly.  Your team standings and stats are derived from the line-up cards.  Any discrepancies found on respective pages must be brought to our attention immediately.  Contact us with correct info.

  2. All players must play 1/3 of all scheduled games and have 1/3 times at-bat in order to play in playoffs.

  3. For Medium Pitch League only, pitchers must pitch 21 innings to be eligible to pitch in the playoffs.  Any alternate pitchers must bat 13/16 (or 80%) of scheduled games.
